F.A.Qs
Here are a few answers to some of the questions I get asked:
How do I find out when you are out & where you will be.
The easiest way is to follow me on my Social Media pages. I put up event notices or posts on the run up to the events saying what day, what time & where I will be located. You will find Social Media links at the base of this page.
I passed your event location but you were not there.
It's very rare that I am not where I said I would be. Sometimes I can't get parked at the exact location so will be somewhere else along the road. Occasionally I will be out & the weather forecast might be on the iffy side, if the weather does turn & it gets a bit damp or it's very quiet with passing bikes I might pack up early! If the forecast looks horrendous on the day I might cancel the session before heading out. It is always worth checking my Social Media pages if you can to see if I have updated the event details or put a post up saying the session has been cut short or cancelled due to bad weather.
I am not just out during the warmer months, I do head out to some local venues near biker frequented cafes/brew vans even when it's cold! I have been roadside when it's 5 degrees C , I can wrap up warm & if you guys & girls are out in force on your bikes, I will also try & be out if I can!

When will the gallery be on your website
I aim to get the galleries on my website within a 2-3 of days, it may occasionally be a bit longer due to the amount of images taken on a very busy session or personal circumstances. I know that many of you are eager to see your images & I do try my hardest to get them done as soon as I can for you.
How do I purchase my digital download image(s).
Once you have found your image in the gallery, click on it & it will open up in a separate page, click on the shopping trolley with a + symbol on it & a menu will slide out from the side of the page, follow the instructions. Once payment has been made, your image will then be sent to your email address you have given.
Please Note: make sure you have checked the spelling etc of your email because I have had a few people incorrectly entering their email address & then wondering why they have not received their image(s)
Please remember to make sure you scroll along the menu for the 'more than one' deal prices, if you do not use this system sorry but unfortunately refunds can not be given after the purchase has been made.
How big can I enlarge my digital image(s).
I offer two sizes of digital image:
Low resolution - These are primarily aimed for social media use, you might get away with up to a 6x4 inch print.
High Resolution. - These images will give you up to a 30x20 inch print (& probably bigger as I have had a few 30x20 inch prints done & they would have gone even bigger without a problem). I have had bikers send me images of BIG prints on their walls that I have taken of them.
How do I purchase prints/products.
If you require a print(s) & don't want a digital image just follow the steps above with how to purchase Digital Images. The print/products are on the same price list.
I saw you taking my photo but I can't see it in the gallery.
Unfortunately even with how good camera technology is nowadays I can't always get everyone. It could be if you are in a group & the group is not spaced out enough, it could be you accelerated as I was tracking you & you went out of shot too quickly, there are a few reasons that I could have missed you so please read the 'Top Tips For A Great Photo' section under the 'More Info' tab. There you will find out how to stand the best chance of me getting a good image of you passing me!
I sent you a message before heading out on my bike to ask what the roads/weather was like at the location but you didn't reply.
Really sorry if I don't get back to you but with some locations I do not have any phone signal - The B6255 north of Ribblehead is a prime example of this sort of location as there is no phone signal there whatsoever! Or it could be that the road is busy with bikes passing & I just don't have the time to put the camera down. I am really sorry as I do try to respond to all messages if I can & I'm sure you understand if I am unable to respond to you straight away.
Can I come & have a chat with you while you are roadside.
Yes, absolutely! Please do come & have a chinwag with me, just make sure it is safe for you to do so & you are not obstructing the road (or my view of the road) & you are parked legally where you leave your bike (or car). I also ride so I'm not just a biker photographer! I often have bikers pull up for a chat, some are 'regulars' now, often having a few passes, stopping for a chat before then making a few more passes before they head off to enjoy the rest of their day on the road!
Please feel free to get in touch via the 'Contact' page or via email or social media message if you do have any other questions. I might not always get back to you straight away but I will do as soon as I am able.
